Reflections on a Wandering Life.....

Sunday, April 11, 2004

Went to the Easter service at BICF today. Louis Palau, Stephen Curtis Chapman, and a tennis player by the name of Michael Chang. After the service, I went with some friends to the Great Wall Sheraton for dinner. Fancy place. Don't ask me what I ate; bunch of French names I don't remember. Pretty good food, but kinda spendy. One hundred eighty-four kwai. Definitely can't do that every day. About once every ten years would be good. Well, I guess if there is any day when a Christian should celebrate, it is Easter.

After the meal, I felt a bit bloated, which made me think that I may have eaten a little too much. Lest there be any question about the matter, when I got to the subway station, the lady who took my ticket poked me in the stomach and laughed. And they say Americans are direct. :)
