The young lady who said last week that she would go anywhere with her husband if she could take her parents with her gave her presentation today. Her power point presentation included a description of guys from various countries, and what one would need to know before considering a cross-cultural marriage. Here is her paradigm:

American guys: Soulful and open

Korean guys: Gentle and cute

French guys: Romantic and elegant

Japanese guys: Cool and natty

British guys: Handsome and politely

The predominant sentiment is that cross cultural marriage might be too big of a chasm to cross. One young man conclded his presentation by saying, "for my heart I say 'yes,' but for my family I say 'no.'"
